I'm just getting back into my flexibility and you don't realize how quickly you lose it when you don't stretch.

If you miss one day, it's like missing three days.

So I've lost some of my flexibility.

Alright, so we're just going to open the legs about shoulder width apart and try to sit down in between the legs.

If you need a block to sit on, you can use that or a pillow.

Okay, and we're going to work on squeezing the abdominals.

Alright, what we're doing in this position is stretching the hamstrings and the quads.

Alright, so we're going to start with the quads first.

Alright, so you're just going to lean back here.

It's a very slow movement.

You might not be able to go very far depending on how tight your hamstrings are.

If you've got tight hamstrings and quads, the IT bones, the inner thighs, that all causes knee pain.

That happens when you sit a lot.

So for secretaries, you want to pivot the pelvis forward and you're just going to lean back here.

It's a very gentle... or truck drivers is another one.

Whatever you do when you sit a lot, so if you're driving a lawnmower,

and that's really bad for your back because it compresses the spine.
