We have team boss coverage with Eric Schellenbein

of the United Nations.

But we start with David B. Miller on the Israel-Israel

border in the Golan Heights state league.

David, it's 920 in the evening now.

You can see now the border is dark.

From a distance, over my shoulder,

you can see the lights of the UN compound.

Beyond that, there are Syrian villages.

They are shrouded in complete darkness.

These villages, many of them are now in the hands of the rebel.

That might soon change.

Many feel now that Bashar al-Assad may be emboldened

by the recent US airstrikes and may try and retake

these villages.

Meanwhile, earlier today, the Syrian capital of Damascus,

hundreds of people took to the streets--

The demonstration was broadcast live on state television.

They were celebrating for gunfire and the shouting,

"Ahh!"

Syria had been under a shock.

A sudden death was called a spoot to the Syrian army.
