My name's Mike McCloskey.
I closed up shop in Chicago last year,
after 20 odd years of an electrical engineering outfit.
Just getting ready to head out and see the world,
maybe end up someplace warm.
Pango pango, maybe.
And I got this letter.
From somebody named Suggs.
A letter and a deed.
Oh boy.
Now I'm supposed to go on and check on something out behind the house.
Tom Brewer went to school with me. He had some pretty wild ideas about UFOs, military
conspiracies, that kind of thing. But despite that we got to be friends, got pretty close
friends. Lost track of him after he graduated. I didn't even know he had died. Why he would
leave me this property is a total mystery.
Here goes nothing.
Suggs, right?
No, I'm Hook. I take care of the place.
Suggs isn't around today.
McCloskey, right?
Right. What's with the caution tape?
Keeps nosy trespassers away.
Is it safe down here?
Yeah. This place was built as a bomb shelter back in the day.
These walls are true foot thick.

Brewer's grandpa thought the Ruskies were going to drop an A-bomb on us.
Then that never happened and people sort of forgot about this place until...
