So what I would be doing is we can do the exam in a couple different ways.

One way that we could do it is have you just standing and have you just bring your pants

and your underwear down and I can observe and do what I need to do from a sitting position

here.

Or, if you would prefer, you can also be lying on the exam table and I can do the exam from

that position.

Do you have a preference?

I think I'd like standing.

So we could do that.

And then what I would be doing is I would be having my medical assistant come in and

she's going to be in here to help assist with what we're doing and just to watch out for

your comfort.

And what I would be doing is using my gloves and to be examining first your penis and then

the scrotum and then finally I'm going to see if you might have a hernia which is an

outpouching from your abdominal cavity and kind of going down against the abdominal wall
