After school I called Azalea over for her first tutoring lesson.
The moment I opened the door to greet her, she immediately pushed me into the apartment and began making herself at home.
"I'm here, teach, let's get started already."
I was shocked at her pushes. I could tell she was a demon but not that much of a devil.
"Come in," I guess. I didn't even get a chance to ask her if she wanted something to drink before she made her way into my living room and sprawled out on my couch.
"Azazel, what kind of stuff do you need help with?"
"I don't care, I'm only here because you told me you would help choose her out."
"I want to tutor her, I want to see how you and Fenta succeed too."
"Well, whatever, teach. Let's work for you, I guess."
I could tell Azazel didn't particularly like me, but it was hard to tell what was behind that facade.
I'm not sure why, but I had the feeling she was trying to hide something.
"Azazel, you got to work with me here. How about we study for an hour and then you tell me something you want to do for an hour?"
"Sounds good."
She thinks for a minute and responds, "Whatever you say, teach."
The next hour or so we spent studying. Surprisingly, Azazel seems to be focused.
The whole time, it felt nice to see her take something seriously for once.
