from the Verrazano to the 39th Street.
The Bronx police had anticipated heavy delays
on the major Deacon Expressway, due, of course,
to the celebration of George Steinbrenner's birthday
at Yankee Stadium.
However, traffic is normal because even the tickets
were free, no one showed up.
There will be a 15 minute delay westbound
on the Cross Bronx Parkway.
Due to flooding caused by rainstorms we had two weeks ago.

to the Bay Parkway.
