I thought I was hallucinating from the heat and from being hungry, you know, but

her body was covered with pictures. Pictures of a life, I guess. Images

depicting everything a person could go through or could want to go through.

I suppose I was turned on by her from the moment I saw her. I bullshitted myself into

thinking it was because she reminded me of some girl from too many years ago.

Some girl who wanted to marry me before I was ready to even think of such things.

And in a way, something about her did remind me of that girl. But that girl or

any other girl never looked like me.

Just kind of wondering, do you have any food?

There's some in the bucket.

Help yourself.

We're all hungry. Just for different things.

Who could be? I haven't seen a town in over a hundred miles.
