The Policeman Arrived, but I Was the One Who Overpowered Him

He'd been going well over the speed limit, but he hadn't expected a cop to be lurking

out here in the middle of nowhere.

The cruiser door opened and out stepped Officer Cole.

Tall, broad-shouldered, clean-shaven with a jaw that could cut professional detachment,

but Liam didn't miss the brief glance he cast on Liam's chest where his shirt clung

tight from the summer humidity.

"We were doing 72 in a 45," Cole said, stepping back.

"Step out of the car."

The command sent a trill through Liam's spine.
