whose stylish model, provocative costuming,
and imaginative staging gained him an instant reputation
and enormous following among devotees of the bondage and discipline arts.
Irving Klawe was born in Brooklyn on November 9th, 1911.
His first proprietary adventure was as an owner of a book and photo store in lower Manhattan.

To separate his conventional movie star business from his brisk bondage photo activity,
he eventually relocated the latter over to Jersey City and renamed it New Trick.
